Christmas Ornaments Fair took place in Windsor, Henley-on-Thames, Cranleigh and Richmond. The exhibition and its museum collection focuses on the history of winter celebrations, their meaning and ornaments.
My name is Margarita Vul and I am the curator of the Christmas Ornaments Fair - an exhibition dedicated to rare and original Christmas decorations.
Christmas Ornaments Fair is a white forest installation where handmade trees are the stands with branches displaying a unique collection of Christmas ornaments. This year we have a museum display at the exhibition - not to be missed if you're around!
I research Christmas decorations history, collect and deal in ornaments as well as create them using traditional papier mache and spun cotton techniques. Techniques that's been used before the plastic era. Go to the blog section to learn more about the history of Christmas ornaments.
If you have any enquiries whether it's finding a special ornament or you'd like to book a workshop for your group, please contact me directly. You can also book a lecture on the history and traditions of Christmas ornaments at your venue. Don't forget to subscribe to receive an invitation to see the next Ornaments Forest!
